On Sunday 7th March, in order to celebrate the International Women’s Rights Day, the Ambassador of France to Kenya, H.E. Aline Kuster-Ménager, joined the Slum Soka / Kibera Black Stars women’s rugby team at their training grounds in Rowallan Camp.

She motivated a lot the Slum Soka girls and she met the coach of the female rugby team, Mercy Migongo, with Sandrine Morhain, youth program manager and school teacher at the French SchoolNairobi, as well as the captain of the Kenya women’s national team, Ms. Phila Olando. What a great day for our young players!

A big thanks to the French Embassador for meeting the young girls / players of KBS / Slum Soka and for the donations of sports equipment collected by the Embassy staff and their families.
